Ripsime – Capsule I: Wicked & Wise
London-based artist Ripsime released her debut EP 'Capsule I: Wicked & Wise' on November 1. The mini-album was completely recorded in Armenia, where Ripsime spent a year during the pandemic. At the same time, this picturesque country experienced difficult times related to the war.

The corridor connecting Artsakh to Armenia is where she was then and it is possible that she will never be able to return there. She put pain, suffering and love into her EP, giving us an incredible quintessence of alternative pop and lyrical content. There are 5 tracks on the album, each of which has its own special function connecting the artist with the hearts of listeners.

Groove and dark aura inherent in Ripsime's music create an incredible concentration of hidden emotions and freshness of creative thinking. The music is modern and insightful, it leaves behind a kind of emotional message and makes us come back to these songs again and again. The vocal lines are graceful and hypnotizing, Ripsime's voice is truly a magical musical instrument that she possesses perfectly.
