the Rec – Two Fingered Gestures
On November 30, a new, fourth EP of the British band the Rec was released. This work is a collection of 4 old songs that have been processed by modern revisit and rethink.

The sounds of post-punk, the New Wave and the art rock are mixed in a single strong impulse that opened the door to the world of the authors of this significant music. The song 'this is the rec' has elements of shoegaze and industrial that flow with its noise walls and energetic electronic rhythm. A powerful vocal melody inflates the composition and carries its strong message.

'Factory Lil' is a fascinating ballad that has the character of art rock from the 70's era. 'College Road' is a calm dark pop song with a Bossa Nova rhythm and acoustic guitar vibes. The song 'for sale' is a disturbing composition that reveals its deep essence through whispering vocals and diligent accompaniment.
