Koalra – Sight Unseen
American band Koalra has released a new single 'Sight Unseen' on the eve of a new album release. This track is a good continuation of the post-punk tradition of the 80s and the entrance to romantic shoegaze sounds.

The song sounds with uniform rhythmic beats and characteristic bass and synth pulses in the style of a new wave. The vocals have a romantic and relaxed mood that fits smoothly into the even structure of the composition.

With each verse in the arrangement of the song something happens, insignificant shifts, pauses, melisms and it passes imperceptibly creating harmonious musical impulses that are not allocated in separate parts. The sound has a lo-fi ratio that perfectly represents the ease and originality of the music.

The music video 'Sight Unseen' shows a retro picture from the life of a youth party in 1989. Vintage records represent the everyday life of like-minded friends who spend their time together filling their days with great music and good mood.

The video is interesting to watch and follow the youth of that time, and although much has changed since then, music remains a stronghold and foundation of subcultural phenomena. Watch the music video 'Sight Unseen' on YouTube below and listen to the recognizable live sound from the band Koalra.
