Mark Montijo – If I Get To Heaven
Mark Montijo began performing in clubs and festivals in the mid-60s. His creative path has repeatedly crossed paths with such prominent figures as Jackson Browne, Tom Waits who also performed at the same venues. Mark Montijo played folk mixed with rock n roll and his music was promising.

But at that time he left his musical career and took up other things that brought him pleasure and self-realization. A few years ago, Mark Montijo, on the advice of his friends, returned to active musical activity. They inspired him to pick up the guitar again and come to the studio to record a few songs. Mark Montijo took advantage of this opportunity and as a result, his first album was released.

Now we have his new album called 'If I Get To Heaven' and it was released on October 11. This album contains 11 original songs in which Mark Montijo put a piece of his soul. Unobtrusive folk sound with soft guitars and airy percussion is listened to extremely expressively and gracefully. Mark Montijo sings about life as it really is.

Listening to his lyrics, we hear simple things that speak wisely and inspiringly. His singing and harmonious folk-rock music will not leave anyone indifferent who knows the value of words and loves deep thoughtful songs. The album 'If I Get To Heaven' is a true masterpiece of life poetry that we want to listen to again and again.
