MODEL CITISIN – The Highlife
MODEL CITISIN shared their double single 'The Highlife' on April 8th. In addition to the vocalist and guitarist Nick Swettenham, the project includes his wife Amy who plays the French horn and his brother Jamie who plays the drums.

The single 'The Highlife' is already the second release of this progressive band and we are happy to see how they continue the work started by the father and uncle of the brothers mentioned above. Then, in the distant 60s, they played in the band Graprefruit named by John Lennon himself and were even signed by The Beatles label Apple in 1968.

'The Highlife' by MODEL CITISIN is a worthy continuation of the musical heritage of rock and roll movement. The first song of 'The Highlife' is a powerful and at the same time melodic track that translates a romantic motif into epic anthemic choruses.

The B-side track is called 'For You' and it has a winding and danceable character. The rich guitar sound and bright singing are perfectly supported by memorable melismas on the French horn and cascading drums.

MODEL CITISIN create cool alternative pop rock that will not leave indifferent fans of 90s classics, 90s alternative and modern indie. Listen to the single 'The Highlife' below on Spotify and enjoy some great new songs from MODEL CITISIN.
