Alutepena Hughes-John – Platonic
On March 15, the new single of the London singer-songwriter Alutepena Hughes-John was released. The song is called 'Platonic' and it tells about unrequited love and its platonic essence.

'Platonic' sounds in a beautiful ska arrangement reflecting sunny rhythms and beautiful vocal melodies. The song 'Platonic' is memorable for its original motive and, despite the sadness of the motive, gives a good mood.

'Platonic' was first heard in 2008 in the repertoire of the band Anthroppic, in which Alutepena (aka Pena) was a vocalist. Since then, Alutepena Hughes-John has been looking for an opportunity to create an alternative version of this song and she succeeded with Karl (drummer) and Max (producer) at The Lodge Recording Studio in Northampton.
