Higher Music State got together for the first time in 2009 when they recorded their debut album 'The First. Since then, their line-up has been updated and we have a band that is a really bright creative unit. The record 'Overboard' consists of 12 tracks that can be divided into unique blocks, it is energetic rock, acoustic tracks, folk influences and experimental musical compositions.  

The acoustic component of the musical accompaniment shines with bright ideas where the inventive rhythm section is closely intertwined with the original guitar parts. Beautiful interspersions of trumpet and piano add an artistic aesthetic and make the songs even deeper. Vocal parts are laid out in melodic lines where female and male voices are harmoniously intertwined. The album 'Overboard' is listened to in one breath and offers us a fresh look at modern acoustic rock.
