Indi Faulkner – ILYK
Once San Francisco was recognized as the capital of hippie culture and now it is a city full of cool indie. We look for the best examples of contemporary music and follow what is happening in this American indie dock. From time to time we come across masterpieces and now it's time when we met the work of local artist Indi Faulkner.

Her second single 'ILYK' recently appeared in Spotify and we immediately saved it. By the way, this is the first single of Indi which was completely created and produced by her. The song 'ILYK' is sad in its mood and its lyrically strange atmosphere draws into its plane like the singing of the Siren from the ancient heroes of Odysseus' travels. Once we hear this single, these sounds no longer let us out of their arms and we remember these alienated indie guitars with a jazz rhythm section and an air synthesizer. Indi's vocals lead a melody that could easily become a jazz standard as if it had been sung in the middle of the last century.

A well-done work suddenly ends at 2:27 and we, not saturated with a strange composition, turn it on again after a while. Switch to Spotify below and immerse yourself in a great mix of indie and jazz from Indi Faulkner and her new single 'ILYK'.
