Vågerud – Sthlmsvägen
Missed the quality of Swedish pop-rock? We too, and here is a new batch of Scandinavian cool melodies waiting for us on Spotify under this review in the form of a mini-album 'Sthlmsvägen' from artist Vågerud. Until we get to the bottom, let's twist a few episodes that await us.

Actually EP consists of 6 tracks and opens his song 'Hemlighet'. Against a dark background and expressive drums rhythm, with a guitar ringing its arrows on the cold metal, with highlighted choruses, this song is a good start to the uninvented stories from Vågerud. We also have the acoustic ballad 'Illusionen' which is complemented by a minimalist rhythm and careful jumping on high keys. Female backing vocals in the chorus add tenderness and leave us with a fresh aftertaste created by monotonous guitar electricity.

This is immediately followed by New Wave's 'En hjälte utan tur'. With a broken rhythm and tremolo guitars, the muted bass arpeggio makes the whole composition mobile. In the middle of the song, an almost ecclesiastical organ gives the festivities and prepare to the impending culmination, which sublimely completes the track. The title song 'Sthlmsvägen' is at the very end of the album. The poems are gradually overgrown with musical instruments and the lively rhythm jumps into a beautiful chorus.
