WH?LAND – Louise
The piano is soft as the first snow; the cries of seagulls mean the sea is somewhere close. Thus begins the single 'Louise' by French singer Alexandre Mauillon. His music project is called WH?LAND and he writes really unique songs.

Paris gave birth to a girl Louise seemingly at such an inopportune moment. And really what does the planet have now? We pass on everything we have from generation to generation. And the quality of everything turns into quantity and in such a world little Louise must live. The acting vocals clearly form the intonations of the song and we feel what the author feels and we are ready to believe him, so we go with him throughout the composition. The track grows in power and emotionality and culminates in the clouded sounds of alternative rock.

This is an impressive ballad, gifted with talent, and we wonder why the author is still not in the mainstream. It is safe to say that WH?LAND's single 'Louise' is the best we've heard from new French music so we recommend listening to this track below on Spotify right now.
