Andrew Shapiro – Mint Green (Radio Edit)
The story of one track that received new life. 'Mint Green' is part of the album 'Numbers, Colors And People' which was recorded by Andrew Shapiro at Philip Glass's studio.

Andrew played music every Sunday at a McDonald's. It was there that his piano gave him a chance to hone his skills and look for images from the bustling metropolis that turned into smooth musical maneuvers. The musician received a musical dedication on the street and his music has become the same modernity that awaits us outside the window. Philip Glass was his godfather spiritually, giving him the door to minimalism and modern classical music. The door was open and Andrew confidently entered it becoming one of the most successful young pianists of his big city.

'Mint Green (Radio Edit)' is a smooth meditation that knows no pauses and sharp movements. The composer's fingers search for their arpeggios in an endless melody. Her passages do not cease to sound in our ears even after the end of the work.  Minimalist bass gives only the first pulse, showing the full depth of the pianist's mood. The analog background gives us a feeling of fullness of life and allows us to breathe fully.

Only melody and minimalism are the tools that Andrew Shapiro needed to make contact with the creative beginning. Let's listen to the radio version of the track 'Mint Green' at the bottom of Spotify and immerse ourselves in the world of the best modern classical music.
