Milan's dance-pop underground has a way of producing artists who arrive fully formed, and DALE belongs in that company. "Addiction," the second single pulled from a forthcoming record, is a small triumph of restraint married to instinct — a track that could easily have leaned on nostalgia and instead chose to build something stranger and more compelling.

Chesterfield rarely produces cultural earthquakes, but Xxäm has just tilted the axis of British electronic pop a few crucial degrees with a debut that arrives fully formed. "Riddle Me This," the first single and video from the act's upcoming self-titled album, plays less like an introduction and more like an accusation whispered across a darkened room. By the time the first chorus detonates, you'll have already confessed to something you didn't do.

East London has always kept its own time signature — somewhere between the last night bus and the first shift at the market — and Mickey P understands this rhythm in his bones. "Good Love," his five-track offering, doesn't so much announce itself as slide onto the dancefloor already mid-groove, sunglasses on, unbothered.

The studio project, which has made something of a quiet vocation out of mapping the emotional fault lines where human connection trembles and shifts, returns with "Shadow of a Doubt" — a single that does something genuinely difficult in contemporary pop: it makes ambivalence feel urgent.

Pop music has always harboured a secret fear of sincerity. Somewhere between the knowing irony of Britpop and the algorithmic hedging of the streaming era, the straightforwardly joyful song became a suspicious object — too earnest, too exposed, too liable to embarrass itself in polite company. Bijons, apparently, have not received this memo. And thank God for that.
