It is a great soul gift to sing about the sea without using its name. And yet listening to the single you feel as if you are sitting on the evening porch of your wooden house by the sea over which the sun sets and looking at it you believe that you have to wait and everything will be fine. The bells ring twice in Mike's poetry and we will hear them real and alive at the end of the song itself. This image connects the whole structure of the play and choruses in the country style like a foretell - 'Hold On, Hold On, Soon I'll be clean' - lead us to think about the salvation that is about to happen.
The musical composition is woven with a minimalist piano accompaniment that sets a dark tone to the whole texture of the picture. The fusion of the singer's deep vocals with an anxious accompaniment reminds us of Nick Cave and his recent works. But in fact, these singers have only one thing in common - the desire to capture invisible and immerse us in the depths of human feelings. Female back vocal help make the choir more sublime and encouraging. Their unison sounds unsurpassed. And we will be happy if someone else like us will feel the magnetic current of the song 'The Big Sea, Unlimited' performed by Mike Nisbet below on Spotify.
