Sarah McQuaid – The St Buryan Session
Sarah McQuaid, a known British singer-songwriter, has delighted fans of real folk song with her new album 'The St Buryan Session'. The album was released on October 15 on all major streaming platforms and in the form of a lovely CD version.

The record consists of 15 tracks that were recorded during a lockdown in the St Buryan, Cornwall. Producer Martin Stansbury provided excellent recording skills and Sarah embodied her long-conceived project. The pure aura of the cathedral and the spiritual and historical atmosphere were successfully conveyed in the musical notes and pauses of Sarah McQuaid's song art.

'Sweetness And Pain' is accapella touches and moods in the right atmosphere to listen to this holistic work. 'The Sun Goes On Rising' - carries powerful and deep vocals supported by an acoustic guitar. 'One Sparrow Down' is a short track that combines percussion and melodic vocals. This interesting idea conveys the spirit of the song and the mood of its performer.

The ballad 'Time To Love' is a light and soulful song. On the verge of prayer and the joy that causes the expression of love, high-pitched vocal sounds amazing against the background of minimalist guitar arpeggios.

'In Derby Cathedral' This is a real folk anthem that can be taken out of the historical subtext and transferred to our times to touch the thirst of souls entangled in their quest and fuss. The song 'Rabbit Hills' is based on piano accompaniment and heartfelt history with a beautiful musical completion.

Sarah McQuaid has created a great masterpiece of folk music. Listen to the full album 'The St Buryan Session' on Spotify below and immerse yourself in the depths of Sarah McQuaid's song art.
