The Qwarks – The Qwarks Are Cancelled
The new wave of Brighton music presented us with the debut album of band The Qwarks. This stunning rock n roll record is called 'The Qwarks Are Cancelled' and consists of 13 unique songs and 4 bonkers spoken word phone calls.

'Lizard People' is a rhythmic cascade with an accentuating rhythm guitar and a free rhythm section. The vocals perfectly twist their melodic lines creating a general energy passion. 'Inefficient Bondage' sounds like the best tradition of Hendrix funk rock. The vocalist recites the lyrics in verses and goes into the driving psychedelia of the musical surge.

'Bathroom Floor Serenity' is created in the style of early hard rock with crazy drums and twisted riffs. Psychedelic choruses give us time to relax and immerse yourself in a virtuoso guitar solo. 'The Chair' got the sound of a garage rock rhythmic march with a psychedelic mood and a rock n roll drive. 'Seven Is a Crowd' is a psychedelic with a wide guitar and Balkan rhythm. The guitar works wonders and the vocals are mysterious and artistic.

The Qwarks have created a masterpiece of the modern psychedelic rock and are a logical continuation of the sweeping garage wave in the modern alternative scene. Listen to the full album 'The Qwarks Are Cancelled' on Spotify below and appreciate the cool work from The Qwarks.
