Famous door in famous music
Alaska Studio was founded by Pat Collier of The Vibrators in 1977 (the band continues to impress with its vitality and creativity as releases of new punk albums and rolling around Europe confirming the slogan: Punk Not Dead).

So it was these doors that opened up new talent, first for rehearsals and later for the studio sessions of the punk elite and not-so-distant music styles wich was fashion in London at the time.  Bands such as R.E.M, Primal Scream, Gorillaz and My Bloody Valentine, as well as many new musicians from the famous London label Rough Trade came out with records across this door. The most famous Russian rock band Mumiy Troll from Vladivostok recorded their first album 'Morskaya' here, under the Waterloo Bridge. We hope the studio will open its door again.
