Leo Sawikin – Row Me Away
Leo Sawikin is a New York musician known for his participation in The Chordaes. This year he started solo career and already released a few songs under his name. Today we will talk about the style of his music in terms of the single 'Row Me Away'.

The composition begins with an experimental sound with ephemeral arpeggios and playing back effects. Leo's strong melancholic vocals cut through this background and enter the rock verses where the music acquires the sound of the 90s.

Extended vocals, atmospheric guitars and riff bass guitars are rounded off in a simple percussion beat carrying a powerful component of the musical idea. The composition gains momentum then descends to the bottom to gain full lungs of air and enter the melodic chorus with a memorable motif. At the culmination, the song unfolds in tone and nurtures a descending finale where the piano and claps embrace in an ambient background.

Leo Sawikin shows all the power of his talent in this song, reproducing own thoughts and emotions, wrapped in original rock music. His music is colorful and wide, it is multi-structured and streamlined. Listen to the single 'Row Me Away' below on Spotify and touch the inner world of the wonderful musician and artist Leo Sawikin.
