The Sunset – Still Life
Milan indie rock scene received another great mini-album from the local band The Sunset. The EP 'Still Life' is the first record in the last 4 years for the band, and this work reflects the period where many events in the life of The Sunset musicians actually took place.

The guys did not leave their business, but on the contrary entered a new direction of music way with fresh energy and new ideas. Their work is all they have to show this world and it is the only thing that can leave a mark on their turbulent creative life. EP 'Still Life' is 5 tracks inhomogeneous and extraordinary. Let's see what awaits us when listening.

'Incomlete' is an emotional pop rock with alternative rock guitars and stretched choruses in the style of a classic rock that grow into an indie rock instrumental before finishing the composition with an alternative coda.

'Change' is a beautiful blues rock in the style of the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd with a unique vocal line and an original chorus. At the end of the song, a comprehensive stadium gospel is transformed.

'Better Man' is a continuation of the finale of the previous song, which raises the song to a high level of emotional message from the band to the masses. The song itself and the guitar solo has the mood of a social rock like the glorious U2.

'The Day of Reckoning' is an alternative composition with graceful emo choruses.

'Nothing but the Rain' is the ballad that completes this record.  Sensual vocals and guitar blues create a romantic atmosphere that is inflated with beautiful string arrangements.

Italian band The Sunset has done a quality job and created a wonderful collection of rock songs that will appeal to everyone who loves classical and alternative rock music. Listen to the EP 'Still Life' below on Spotify.
