the DRIVE – If It Were True
The story behind the song 'If It Were True' by the Los Angeles band the DRIVE is captivating in its romantic yet prosaic essence. On March 7, the DRIVE releases a new single, which for them is actually a song of revelation that allows them to rethink many things.

Daniel and Isaac Griffin (founders of the DRIVE) were born in a large family and who were extremely glad at one time when the church gave their father an old piano. From then on, music began to play in their home, and together with their father, the boys came up with their first chord progression. It was this progression that became the basis of this song, which the guys decided to form into a musical composition by adding verses and creating an original musical arrangement.

'If It Were True' is actually a children's song that reminds the band members of their belonging and kinship and commitment to music. Beautiful melody and soaring harmony together with soulful vocals make this song unforgettable. The slow tempo and deep lyrics make us yearn for our own past and look at life from a different angle. The song 'If It Were True' is a true masterpiece of song art where live accompaniment accumulates a melodic vocal line into an open and sincere motive.
