The Amanda Emblem Experiment – Farmtime
On March 16, the new EP of the Australian artist The Amanda Emblem Experiment was released. The 5-track mini-album opens before us a new page in the work of a talented and charismatic musician and singer-songwriter Amanda Emblem.

Since 2017, Amanda Emblem has been performing under her name by adding the word 'Experiment' as the quintessence of her desire not to stand still but to develop as an artist. Before that, Amanda Emblem had a turbulent musical life in which she appeared as a singer and bassist of several popular Australian bands. Today, the artist is settled in rural South East Queensland, where she perfectly combines growing vegetables with writing and recording new original music.

EP 'Farmtime' is a wonderful example of song art in which the artist appears by herself without unnecessary images and concepts. Simple life songs presented on the tracklist are full of thoughts and actions that reveal to us a simple person with her usual problems and worries about the future. The voice of Amanda Emblem has a beautiful velvet timbre that is memorable. Her vocal lines are expressive and deep, melodic and captivating.

The musical arrangements of the presented songs are saturated with acoustic sound. The live ensemble shines with a bluesy-folk sound with winding guitars and relaxing piano and flute. EP 'Farmtime' by The Amanda Emblem Experiment has its original flavor of rock n roll and we actually think that's exactly how it should be today.
