Janeuary – Everest
Ukrainian singer, musician and composer Janeuary continues to write her own music despite the war started by the dictatorial authorities of the neighboring country. Her music should live and sound even in these turbulent times for her country, because it gives listeners faith and hope for the future.

Recently, Janeuary shared a new single 'Everest', which became a real decoration of her growing music catalog. This ballad has a colossal energy field that puts us in a kind of trance, surrendering to the sensual side of this musical composition.

'Everest' is a song not about the mountain itself, but about our inner peak that each of us holds within us. The movement towards this peak encourages us to dream and be strong. The movement to the metaphorical Everest is a movement through life, towards one's goals and desires. The fantastic voice of the singer accurately conveys these emotions and her velvet timbre soothes, strengthens and inspires.

Janeuary independently wrote all the lyrics and parts for musical instruments, and she invited the best Ukrainian instrumentalists to record. The classic piano motif is replaced by an excellent sensual string arrangement. We fully feel the depth of the melody and the epic component of the harmony.

In the music video 'Everest', we have the opportunity to feel like one of those who climbs to the highest point in the world. Janeuary took this video during her climb last fall and it perfectly captures the aesthetic of this beautiful song.
