A new rock duo called Nine Lives was born in the beautiful city of Cardiff. Their debut single 'Cutthroat Friends' was released recently and brought a breath of fresh air to all fans of the British Stoner.
The single begins as our favorite Black Sabbath riffs in the mid-70s. Only the guitar and drums are the basis of the band and that is enough to attract additional sound effects in the mechanism of this rock machine.
Abrupt vocals and gothic-minimalist guitar solos paint the single with their colors. The song sounds driving and rich and enters the grunge chorus and culminates in the spirit of the legendary QOTSA. This deadly alloy sounds powerful and loud so that our inner strength is pumped into us to the limit.
In the music video 'Cutthroat Friends' black and white images of musicians give the mystical psychological meaning that allows us to understand the song better. Their impulsive energy naturally fits into the essence of the music and we see a cool underground clip where rock musicians are the main characters.
