The work consists of 8 tracks where they are connected by the concept of combining the best examples of alternative music 80-90 with experiments in the form of smears of paint where the paint is the sounds of the mystical and all-encompassing.
Album 'From Dust To Life' from Nkos:
1) 'The Cockroaches' Dance'
With the ephemeral sunrise comes the first words of the band that they are not afraid. The techno beat with the squeaks of an old record echoes with the sounds of a strange computer game against the background of which the vocalist's 'instructions' and breath are repeated.
2) 'The Meekness of Happy - Extended'
The bass drum with electro-bass gives that minimalist charge that drives the post-rock guitar and the vocals into the chorus plane. Snare drum appear emphasizing the importance of the sung. The piano soothes lightly.
3) 'Lonely Ghost-Self'
The voice of a real ghost invites you to an energetic trip-hop with elements of techno. Male vocals put poems in the style of Rammstein meeting female vocals in wild techno jumps.
4) 'Collodi's Son'
80's disco with the sounds of an electro-whip goes through a melodic chorus and later transform into a hard-rock riff.
5) 'Will You Be Scared'
Dark, mystical intro is accelerated by a drumbeat and passes new wave disco. The vocalist's slow and calm singing is embodied in the melody that is sprayed on the sound palette of the composition.
6) 'Cant Wait'
A song in the style of The Cure is well embodied in Nkos' own vision. Gothic minimalism develops its theme with the rhythm of leisurely trip-hop. A stretched guitar solo gives the solemn mood that flirts with british music heritage.
7) 'BOW (Brave Old World)'
An experimental composition that perhaps best characterizes the identity of the Nkos team. We believe that such songs are the future of all post-punk and the alternative new wave.
8) 'Make Me Come True'
A song like a shamanic mantra that is a clear continuation of the creativity of The Doors and a modern interpretation of the work of William Blake.
