Josh Tepper can be proud of his musical education at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts as a vocal major. He continued his studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where he majored in Cinema Studies. 

Josh Tepper's songs were also inspired by his communication with his grandparents who recently left this world. Their stories about holy places gave young Josh Tepper hope and support for a great spiritual path. The song 'Guide Me Meron' is a kind of anthem for places like this, where the soul seeks purification and peace.
