Au-Turn – I Walk In Capitals
Dolan Hewison, guitarist of the iconic Manchester band New Fast Automatic Daffodils returns with his solo project Au-Turn, after 25 years creative break on the British music scene. The band New Fast Automatic Daffodils is known for their collaboration with the label Hacienda and their legacy of cool releases.

We have great news, because New Fast Automatic Daffodils are preparing a surprise for their fans this year, including the release of archival recordings of the band. With the beginning of the pandemic, an incredible inspiration was found on Dolan Hewison with the help of which he wrote and recorded an entire album that will be released on June 2.

'I Walk In Capitals' is the second single by Au-Turn that was released on May 5 and this song speaks of the wonderful creative form of the author of this soulful and, to some extent, nostalgic song. The melody and sound of this track will satisfy all fans of indie and alternative rock.

Wide and atmospheric piano chords are the main leitmotif of the accompaniment, on which an impulsive guitar and hypnotic synthesizers are planted. Cascading drums and a warm vocal line create an interesting balance of harmony and rhythm, and romantic lyrics bring us to the world of big cities with their special atmosphere.
