Isak’s Island – Someone I’d Recognise
Isak's Island is a musical project of Norwegian singer-songwriter Aksel Undset, who released his second album on May 26. He wrote and produced the album 'Fallen Anchors On The Sea Bed' himself and featured other fine musicians who also contributed to this charming indie-folk record.

'Someone I’d Recognise' is the name of the single taken from this album, which was written by the artist during his stay in London. Isak's Island was founded in 2013 and the main activity of this project came to London, where Aksel Undset gathered a group of musicians with whom he toured Europe. So, the song 'Someone I’d Recognise' perfectly conveys the aesthetics of a friendly attitude towards this city and the people who live in it. Walking in the Citi, we can always find someone we recognise.

The vocal line has a beautiful velvety tone that sensually conveys the desire of a dreamy and romantic person. The musical composition 'Someone I’d Recognise' develops smoothly and gently, adding new instruments and parts to the accompaniment. The mandolin and pedal steel leads the main theme of the song in a minimalist way, and the violin creates a magical folk atmosphere.
