The Atomic Age – Staring at the Sun
The American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist musician JJ Schrick is a prominent representative of the Nashville alternative/indie scene. His solo project The Atomic Age started in 2017 and since then he has been sharing his creativity with an ever-growing fan base.

On May 12, The Atomic Age released a new single called 'Staring at the Sun'. This musical composition conveys a motive that talks about the bad news that surrounds us. Tons of negativity pours down on us every day through television, radio and the press, further suppressing our thoughts.

Musically, the track 'Staring at the Sun' has a conceptual development that builds up the emotional component of the song. Monotonous piano and groovy beats create a hypnotic field in which an acoustic guitar is a soft background. Cosmic synthesizers lead the theme to anthemic choruses followed by a crushing guitar solo.

The song 'Staring at the Sun' has a taste of originality and experimentation, which is exactly what makes The Atomic Age stand out from others. Listen to the single 'Staring at the Sun' below on Spotify and immerse yourself in the exciting field of an impulsive and timely song from The Atomic Age.
