The album consists of 11 tracks and begins with the song 'Secular Song' - pure britpop with a mixture of psychedelic rock 60s. Vague atmosphere with close backing vocals, tremolo guitars and tambourine - everything sounds cool. In the composition 'Misophonic Man' there is a cosmic effect on the main vocals, which lays on dirty guitars. The high registers of synthesizer sounds from the 80s give the track the originality due to which the four-chord sequence is twisted into an endless circle of sound.
The shuffling of keys and human footsteps become a prelude to 'Don't Know Why' which sounds like an energetic ballad composed of muted chords. The pre-chorus are accompanied by keyboards and grow into a wide chorus with guitar acoustic arpeggios. The song embodies confidence in the future and close relationships that are felt nearby. 'When It's Nothing' liked for its energy with abundant keyboards and a dense acoustic guitar with rhythm section. It's a tough acoustic rock thing.
Of course, the debut from Main Primate is a good work that inspires us with its original sound with the incredible energy of British shoegaze. Listen to the album '... for the Lamplighters' below on Spotify and meet the new talented music team Main Primate.
