The Nielsen Family Band – Eat the Light
The second full-length album of the American band The Nielsen Family Band was released and immediately interested us with its original sound and mysteriously warm vocals. The band is based in Lancaster, Pa and from there gives us their work.

The album is called 'Eat the Light' and its title song is an intro to the entire concept work, which consists of a total of 12 tracks. The first track has its function in heating the air to further immerse us in the world of the talented company of musicians. It is followed by 'Something on Your Mind' which sounds like psychedelic rock from the 60's with soft male vocals leading the melody forward. From the first notes, the ensemble play of the band fascinates with its playfulness and feeling of each other in the miraculous musical space.

In the song 'From Iside' the vocals pass into women's hands and the ballad coming out from under the guitars arrangement plays with our feelings and invites into the world of beautiful folk.  'Act of Love' is generally a country style in a specific manner of performance inherent only to this band. The middle of the song is cut by a slow insert and after a few moments the country train continues its movement singing about the most beautiful things that people have.
