Nick Noon – Don’t Let The Papers Get You Down
The glorious city of Nashville, how much wonderful music have you brought us, and how much more will you bring? A wonderful debut came to us yesterday from this city. And this time it's Nick Noon with his single 'Don't Let The Papers Get You Down'.

Nick has already written more than a hundred songs, but only now, after honing his poetic and musical skills, did he dare to share his first release with the world. Taking the whole process of creating his creative works, the musician used his abilities as a multi-instrumentalist. The two songs that make up the single were recorded and produced at their best.

'Don't Let The Papers Get You Down' begins with the cinematic shouts of the crowd and the introduction of a powerful melody at the head of the instrumental ensemble. The pause only prepares us for a new wave of poems where Nick's soft pleasant vocals tap the melodic rhythm of philosophical phrases. The musical fabric changes to acoustic guitars and a wild lost bass which in general forms a rather mature arrangement.  Then the theme develops with percussion and rocking bass and grows into a chorus that has a pop character of the 50s in the style of Frank Sinatra only with a more psychedelic bias. The second track 'Dear Delilah' shows the versatility of the author and his ability to place accents in a simple piano romance. The song sounds penetrating and fascinates us with its magnetics and curiosity of the form of presentation of musical material.

Listening to Nick Noon's debut single, we are forced to admire its originality. We want to believe that new wave of contemporary music will develop in this direction, which can be heard on Spotify below, on the single 'Don't Let The Papers Get You Down'.
