Christian Wethered – Mon Petit Jardin
Which is stronger, poetry or music? So we are a music blog, and first of all we consider its very majesty music but lyrics, artwork and music video also as equal elements in the context of music. And this time we could not resist the talent of Christian Wethered.

This Irish poet has already established himself in the literary field and was even shortlisted for the Melita Hume Prize with his debut book 'I Don't Love You'. His single 'Mon Petit Jardin' was released on March 15th. This is the third single from the artist's upcoming debut album. An interesting arrangement of the song is the result of the composition chosen by the accompaniment. Christian seems to like minimalism, and we like it too. Acoustic guitar is played folk and we hear its roots in the French music that inspired the artist during his stay in this country.

The French part of the text changes the English in the middle of the song, which makes the composition rich and poetic. Christian' lyrics are the basis of his work and his vocals capture the frequencies of poetry, making the single a first-class product. He sings of separation in such a way that sorrow comes into our hearts and we feel sorry for those who were lefted because we ourselves have already felt the same way. His lyrics reach us with sincerity of feelings and purity of heart. Percussion and violin accompany him and backing vocals build harmony making the song even closer to us.

Listen to the single 'Mon Petit Jardin' right now under this review on Spotify and appreciate Christian Wethered's talent for combining music with poetry.
