Recently Lapels signed and began working with music label Marquee Records that undertook to take the band to a new level. The song 'The Life & Times' is the third single of the band that was released via this label.  

'The Life & Times' has a melodic structure that continues the glorious traditions of The Beatles and Britpop and the sound of the new Lapels' release indicates an update and a modern stylization of timeless classic ideas. Guitar music has not lost its appeal and nowadays it sounds stylish and relevant.  

In the music video 'The Life & Times' the band Lapels is shown as a group of friends who spend their time together. They sing, walk, play football and just have fun like real friends. The landscapes of the city, streets and park intersect in a dynamic montage where the ideas of their music are perfectly conveyed thanks to the visualization.
