The music has received elements of soft rock and Americana music and it sounds unobtrusively easy with emotional waves of guitar slides and a strong rhythm section. The vocalist perfectly conveys the emotions and mood of the song.  

In the music video 'Hopes and Dreams' unfolds a short film that conveys the aesthetics of the song captivating footage of modern westerns. The protagonist goes to the land of hopes and dreams because he has a bag full of money and a faithful car. In the desert there is a fatal meeting for which he pays everything he has. The price is high and the hero takes a risk.
