The band was formed after bassist Mireia Carbonell moved to London where she formed a new collective with local musicians. Periscopi Invertit is working now on their debut album and the single 'El Poder Del Cant' opens the creative impulse that is raging in the band at the moment.  

Indeed, the song 'El Poder Del Cant' is an exemplary as instrumental track and it is performed flawlessly and deliciously. The music is based on the dense bass moves of the samba and the classical piano component. 

The rhythm is maintained in beautiful percussion and the oud cuts through the air with its fiery passages. The flute solo soars high and gracefully. The vocals lead its history with gentle and sensual vocals.
