Rod Coote released this new single called 'Wild Pine' on September 3rd. This is a slow song about a slow farewell to someone you love. It was written at a time when the author learned that his grandfather was ill. The heavy melody and deep words touch each of us with their truth of life and their trusting story.  

The singer shares the pain and despair, he is open to sympathy because similar situations have happened to everyone in life. The acoustic guitar conducts its monotonous folk arpeggios with pure and soulful vocals. We follow the thoughts of the singer and grow into his soft melody rising above his sad message.
