How much do we know about the Ukrainian rock and underground scene? As they say, seeing once is worth hearing a hundred times, but seeing is something. The collection of the first exposition of this museum presents hundreds of original photos and printed materials related to the emergence of the underground scene of Ukraine in the 80s and up to the flowering of the young alternative scene in the 00s. In the Hall of Ukrainian Rock'n'Roll, there are many real artifacts that tell about the main rock festivals of the past and the main rock bands whose work influenced the formation of the authentic and original creative rise of Ukrainian rock music. Among the exhibits are stage clothes, equipment and musical instruments, accessories of rock stars and their authentic tracklists and autographs of songs. Here is a large collection of festival flyers and bracelets, posters and posters, badges and even oil paintings.

Why is the museum called the Rock Capital? Manevychi, located in the Volyn region near the border with Poland, is of course a small town, but in the 90s a real rock boom broke out here. About a dozen and a half original rock bands operated here and a lot of rock concerts were held, and Manevychi itself was divided into sectors that controlled various kinds of rock parties. All visitors to Manevychi at that time unequivocally called this settlement the Rock Capital. But this is another story that will be told in other, future halls of the Rock Capital Museum.
