Someguy – City State
Interest in electronic music seems to be returning, thanks to such new projects as Someguy from Brussels. Their debut mini-album was released this year on Someguy Records and the event brought a lot of joy to electronic music scene.

EP 'City State' includes 4 tracks where 2 of them are different mixes on the eponymous theme 'City State'. Minimalist techno with weak bits and robotic voices create a palette of this composition. The background noise of clicks and switches changes to the atmospheric chords of the electric piano. The track is gaining momentum towards the end with the addition of additional percussion and hypnotic background.

In another track of this record, which is called 'Quiet Cool', mystical noise reflexes and barely audible impulses with selected individual phrases and deep house effects are heard. The third composition is called 'Sir Davos' and its aesthetics is a set of expressive minimalist electric sounds against the background of weak electric bits. EP 'City State' will appeal to all fans of original electronic music with Belgian roots. Listen to Someguy's debut EP on Spotify below.
