The Japanese band Once Grace Forever based in Tokyo and was formed in 2018 by three like-minded people. Their recent release came out this autumn. The band has released their third album called 'Live Today' and their active studio life can not help but rejoice. The album consists of 11 tracks and builds its music around pure and gentle vocals like a fairy voice wrapped in various sounds. Sounds will form songs like the architects that build your city. If you want to see the whole city and not one house, you need to listen to the album and try to find content that is close to us, to all humanity living today.
Their post rock sounds with a mixture of shoegaze and dream pop and sometimes alternates or mixes in one composition. Pure vocals are often accompanied by two guitars, one with a glass sound and the other with distortion and shrill tremolo. Sometimes the metallic sounds are reminiscent of The Cranberries with their cold vocals. Vocalist Natsumi fits well into the mystery of the band's sounds. Bass guitarist Lin is also the producer of the project because she is the main person in the band who selects the subtle facets of the sounds for proper mixing. Drummer Haruka makes his accents original thanks to which all tracks of the album sound differently but as if with one meaning. The album 'Live Today' from the band Once Grace Forever is worth the attention of music lovers who are looking for something fresh and home-made with love.
