Mae Krell – colorblind
The saddest songs are songs about breackup. New York singer-songwriter Mae Krell has this experience and has such a song. Her new single 'colorblind' was released on June 25 and it reveals the story of one sad life moment.

This ballad has deep lyrics with metamorphoses and simple life actions. Each of us has experienced something similar and that is why this song sinks into our souls and crushes our hearts. Mae's vocals are sincere and filled with bitterness from a new feeling for her. It breaks her and we feel it too.

The guitar accompanies with its slide passages and the simple melody of the piano drips like tears. Drums with live impulses add sharpness to the singer's words. The recording sounds deaf as if compressed in itself and perhaps this is what helps to reveal the image of the lyrical hero and his reaction to what was continuous and became fragile. Listen to the single 'colorblind' below on Spotify and get aesthetic pleasure from such sensual work by Mae Krell.
