VELIKA VELIKA – The Gulag Archipelago
'The Gulag Archipelago' is the name of the new single of the British artist VELIKA VELIKA, led by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Benjamin Davies. The song was inspired by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn's famous novel 'The Gulag Archipelago'.

VELIKA VELIKA conveys his own feelings that are associated with the search and acceptance of this disturbing world and those circumstances that put pressure on us and do not allow us to move forward.

VELIKA VELIKA approached the recording of this song thoroughly, because its raw acoustic sound is full of such qualities as honesty and sincerity, which accurately conveys the aesthetics of this musical composition. The structure of the musical arrangement is filled with interesting dynamic transitions and bridges that create an appropriate aura and reveal the depth of the lyrics.

Soulful vocals bring pure emotions and feelings that highlight the spiritual meaning of this song. Folk rock verses are replaced by driving, almost hard rock riffs precede an incredibly sensual culmination. Strings add drama and fullness to complete this piece of music.
