Lennox Campbell-Berzins – Lullabies For Lenny
Lennox Campbell-Berzins presented his first instrumental album 'Lullabies For Lenny' on October 11. The album is dedicated to the Canadian jazz guitarist Lenny Breau and his guitar playing technique, which Lennox Campbell-Berzins actually used in this recording.

If you doubt the timbral and technical capabilities of the guitar, you definitely need to listen to this album, especially since it contains 10 cover versions of famous jazz standards that many people are familiar with.

Lennox Campbell-Berzins uses this unique technique of playing the guitar to surprise us and thus expand the horizons of the possibilities of this instrument. The similarity with the harp and the piano is obvious, where the guitar flaglets soar in incredible melodies, touching our hearts and inviting us into the realm of jazz music.

Lennox Campbell-Berzins recorded this album live in a matter of hours at the Hot Docs cinema in Toronto, with Neal Armstrong, between the end of the last movie show and the arrival of the cleaners.  It took about two hours to select the best takes and shoot a magical video sequence that accurately conveys the aesthetics of this incredible album.
