The Heavy North – Fire In The Furnace
British blues rock band The Heavy North shared their new release and this time it's a live album 'Fire In The Furnace'. Their performance was recorded and filmed at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool on Friday 1 December 2023.

A well-prepared musical group of 12 excellent musicians reminded us of what real British blues can be like. There are 21 tracks on the record, and in each of them we hear that fantastic musicality and feeling of blue notes that the record captures and involuntarily transports us to that concert hall where the magic of sound and energy exchange between listeners and musicians takes place.

The Heavy North are able to combine excellent arrangements with the inner content of songs. Emotional guitar solos, assertive rhythm section and soulful vocals are complemented by warm organ and deep wind instruments. This stage idyll is a real cult of worshiping his majesty of the Blues and we enthusiastically joined in with every sung word and every played note on this record.
