Knút – Hjartasláttur
The fourth full-length album of the Faroese singer-songwriter and musician Knút was released on November 24. The record is called 'Hjartasláttur' and contains 9 new original musical compositions.

Knút is a well-known musician and producer in his homeland, who is one of the main initiators of the 'Millenium Revolution' under the banner of which a new progressive generation of Faroese artists grew up. Knút's musical activity is rich and varied, over the past 20 years the artist has participated in many bands and projects and his contribution to the musical heritage of the Faroese indie scene is significant.  


The album 'Hjartasláttur' is the result of his return to an active creative life. With the help of a live band, Knút managed to realize his new project, which takes us to an atmospheric, folk-filled space. Musically, the record intersects various influences, from indie pop to psychedelic and dream pop. Graceful and refined music helps to immerse oneself in poetic lyrics, which always carry meaning and depth. The vocal lines are warm and relaxed, they harmoniously intersect with talented arrangements and exciting musical ideas.
