Velvet Starlings was formed by a 20-year-old multi-instrumentalist musician Christian Gisborne who gathered like-minded musicians around him. Their intense concert and studio activity gives its results and we have a new release of the band that is worth paying attention to.  

'Turning Point' is a track that has the energetic fervor of indie rock and a peculiar atmosphere of psychedelic of the 60s. The assertive rhythm section is fueled by rousing guitar arpeggios and fluid jazz organ. The vocalist charismatically sings about the opportunity to look back, which we still have in view of the climate crisis or in view of given the impasse of some failed romantic relationships.
