Muzzy Hooks – Blood Red Skies
New York-based artist Muzzy Hooks independently writes and records his own music in his home studio. Together with other musicians, he performs throughout NYC bringing his indie folk music to listeners. Recently, Muzzy Hooks shared a new song 'Blood Red Skies', which is a kind of reflection of the author on sleepless nights.

The song was written exactly on one of these nights, and as the artist himself notes, he recorded the vocals at 3 am. Somewhere then, the sky lights up with a blood-red glow and those who do not sleep can contemplate a unique natural phenomenon that turns all thoughts upside down.

Muzzy Hooks has a light and silky voice that perfectly conveys the surprising aesthetic of his new track. Hypnotic guitars and an ambient background accompany the lyrics until the culmination, when the whole live ensemble comes alive and carries hope for a new day somewhere in the vortex.
