To record her new album, Louise Distras chose San Francisco, where the magic of recording took place at 25th Street Studios. Completion of the album was given to the legendary Ross Peterson

(Bruce Springsteen, Elle King, John Mayer). Such a bright company of creative people managed to make an incredible record called 'Beauty After Bruises'.  

The arrangements in the style of indie and punk rock give her lyrics more emphasis and honesty. With her piercing and velvety vocals, Louise Distras sings about the problems that appear before us in more and more new guises. Time does not stand still, and it is clear that the world's complicity in universal misfortunes will be realized.
