Toronto Tabla Ensemble – For the Love of Tabla
The folk collective Toronto Tabla Ensemble has gathered around them talented and well-known musicians in Canada. The band has played successful concerts throughout Canada and has repeatedly crossed the ocean for unforgettable touring times.

Over the years, Toronto Tabla Ensemble changed its lineup and recorded unsurpassed pearls of world and folk music. On February 22, the band released a new album called 'For the Love of Tabla'. Using the sounds of Indian tabla, the musicians perfectly combine them with elements of Indian music and rock.

The song 'Encore 21' is a great example of rhythmic vocal composition where the voice becomes a percussion instrument of the Toronto Tabla Ensemble outfit. The track 'Prayer for the Mother' has its own unique vocal melody that leads the main line of the track. Rock guitar and shrill vocals meet in the rhythm of tabla.

'Summer 2020' is a graceful composition that conveys the gentle melody of the flute along with an organic change of percussion accents. The song 'Shyama Sundara' shimmers with warm percussion, soulful playing on the sitar and beautiful singing of sweet voice.

Toronto Tabla Ensemble created a real masterpiece of traditional Indian folklore that should be protected and maintained as a cultural heritage of a great nation.
