Tara Vern – Tried To Drown My Sorrows But The Bastards Learned To Swim
Australian artist Tara Vern based in Lisbon, Portugal released her second album on September 10. The record is called 'Tried To Drown My Sorrows But The Bastards Learned To Swim' and consists of 11 tracks sustained in garage and indie rock moods.

The track 'Bibble Girl' breaks into the silence with post-punk guitar lines and rhythm. Calm vocals in these verses are gaining emotion in grunge choruses. Another single from the album is called 'Corona Corazon' that is a melodic rock with an alternative sound and underground mood. The song is remembered for its refrains that accentuate the content of the lyrics and the epic final part of the composition.

'Hard To Read' is based on a cool guitar riff that captures all the twists and turns of music and vocals. 'Mouth In The Sky' is a viscous and rhythmic composition with guitar impulses on sad and melancholic vocals. 'Slow Motion Explosion' is a rock n roll for a song with inner energy and minimalist drive.

Tara Vern once again showed her talent as a charismatic musician and lyricist. Her songs have an invisible aura that has absorbed the old rock n roll, underground sound of the 90s and the modern indie attitude.
