Bones in Butter – Scenes From The Metro
Bones in Butter is a Serbian music project and band founded in 2019. Their original music inspired by experimental rock artists of the past. The creativity of Bones in Butter is not a reproduction or replay of old styles of rock n roll, but a kind of unique phenomenon on the European indie scene.

Their new single is called 'Scenes From The Metro' and it was released on January 6th. This track has elements of avant-garde and post-rock sound that is immerse us in the world of real stories of the city of Belgrade and, especially, the story of its Underground, which is still unfinished and not open at this time.

The mournful tone of the vocal parts is wonderfully interwoven with the scrolling back motif of the old song 'Lili Marlen' by Lale Andersen, which sounded first in Belgrade in 1941. The live atonal accompaniment of the ensemble accompanies the lyrics, adding a tense atmosphere and a strange hypnotic mood.
