G – BRO – We Got A Song
Six musicians walk out of a parking lot in Irvington, New York, and into a home studio, and what emerges is a single that refuses to apologise for its own good humour. "We Got A Song" is the sound of a band that spent lockdown discovering each other the old-fashioned way — through amplifiers, folding chairs, and whoever happened to wander by with a lawn chair and a thirst for live music. That origin story could easily curdle into nostalgia-mongering, the sort of press-release mythology that collapses the moment the needle drops. It doesn't happen here. G-BRO have turned circumstance into method, and the method holds up.
